Director Monte Hellman will follow up his latest film Road to Nowhere with two projects. One is an adaptation, by long-time collaborator Steven Gaydos (Iguana; Road to Nowhere), of Herbert Gold’s 1955 novel The Man Who Was Not with It. The other is Love or Die, described by Hellman as “a ticking clock ‘time-bomb’ supernatural romantic thriller.” As to which will come first, the director explains, “We plan to start with whichever is financed and ready to go first, followed closely by the other.” Shannyn Sossamon is expected to play a major role in both films.
